Vario × Wancher – Independent Brands with Shared Passion

At Vario, we've always believed that the watch community grows stronger when independent brands support one another. Rather than seeing fellow microbrands as competitors, we see them as partners in keeping mechanical watchmaking creative, diverse and accessible.

That's why we're delighted to announce our first official collaboration with Wancher Japan. This collaboration marks the first time Wancher have collaborated with another brand.

Founded in Japan, Wancher is best known for celebrating traditional Japanese craftsmanship through beautifully designed writing instruments and, more recently, distinctive timepieces. We admire their thoughtful approach to design and their commitment to creating products that tell a story, values that closely align with our own.

The partnership also feels especially meaningful to us. While Vario is proudly designed in Singapore, several of our watches are made in Japan, and we've worked closely with Japanese partners for many years. Collaborating with a Japanese brand like Wancher feels like a natural extension of that relationship, bringing together Singaporean design and Japanese craftsmanship.

For the launch of the Kaguya Moonphase, every watch in the current production run will be paired with a Vario 21mm Quick Release Vintage Epsom Leather Strap at no additional cost. Our straps are designed to complement the elegance of the Kaguya while offering the comfort, durability and quick-change convenience that Vario customers have come to appreciate.

As we celebrate Vario's 10th anniversary, collaborations like these remind us why we started this journey, to create products enthusiasts genuinely enjoy and to build friendships within the watch community. We hope this is just the first of many opportunities for independent brands to work together, share ideas, and bring even more value to collectors around the world.
