"Wearing the Vario Futurist is an immensely fun experience, and I frequently found myself looking down at the watch, just to see how its faceted crystal was playing with the reflections. A solid amount of visual intrigue comes from the Futurist’s dynamic case profile and the finely machined lines that radiate outward from its bezel. However, its faceted sapphire crystal really is the standout feature, and it transforms the Futurist from an object that might catch your eye into something that you want to view up close and handle in the light. With that in mind, despite being incredibly fun to wear, design-centric watches like the Futurist are rarely destined to be a person’s go-to everyday timepiece, and I personally find that it is much easier to enjoy these types of watches when I haven’t spent a small fortune on them."
