The Vario 1945 A-11S WW2 field watch remix history with a message of peace. The iconic American-designed A-11’s hacking center seconds hand revolutionized precision timing, allowing soldiers to synchronize their actions during critical battlefield maneuvers. The removal of the center seconds hand in 1945 A-11S Solar Quartz watch, replaced by a simple disc and contrasting dot, allows the wearer to witness the movement of time while representing a shift away from the tools of war. This design choice signifies a departure from conflict, championing progress, harmony, and innovation. The 1945 A-11S serves as a symbol of de-escalation, inspired by the hope for a peaceful future that Sadako Sasaki envisioned through her thousand origami cranes.
