Celebrating 10 Years of Vario at Windup Watch Fair NYC

Ten years ago, Vario started with a simple passion for thoughtful design, historical storytelling, and wristwatches built for true appreciation. Reaching our 10th anniversary is a major milestone for us and a occasion this special called for a special watch. To mark the decade, we’re heading to New York City to exhibit at the Windup Watch Fair NYC for the very first time, where we’ll be unveiling our newest release: a 150 piece limited edition chronograph inspired directly by the iconic Art Deco compass clock in the Empire State Building lobby.

Art Deco Heritage Meets Wristwear Craftsmanship

The Empire State Building lobby is one of the world's finest examples of Art Deco architecture, defined by radiant geometry, bold contrast, and intricate metallic detailing. Translating that landmark design to a wristwatch dial meant capturing every nuance of its golden-era aesthetic.

• Radiant Guilloché Center: The inner dial features a textured pattern that mirrors the bursting rays of our classic Empire collection.

• Sunburst & Compass Sub-dials: The dual sub dials echo the intricate compass-rose styling of the lobby clock, complete with golden coin-edge trim and precise track markings.

• Vintage Font & Gilded Accents: Rich black, warm gold, and crisp silver layers complement classic Art Deco numerals and syringe hands, housed in a stainless steel case topped with an onion crown.

*Numerals on sub dial will be shifted inwards slightly
